Between the 1950s and 1970s the club had a great rivalry with Real Madrid
and with the other neighboring teams, playing memorable duels. During the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, Joventut had the best years in its history. Today, the club's sponsored name is FIATC Joventut, named after the Spanish insurance company FIATC. Currently, Badalona's basketball club is feeling the same magic of years ago.

Joventut Badalona was the first Catalan
and second Spanish team to win a Euroleague
title. In 1994, Badalona became the champion of the Euroleague
and thus reached the top of European basketball. In 2006, Badalona won the Eurocup
championship, and in 2008, the club won the ULEB Cup
championship. Joventut also won 2 Korać Cup
championships in the years 1981 and 1990.
