Juha Leevi Antero Tapio [1] (born February 5 1974) is a Finnish pop singer, lyricist, composer and guitarist. Tapio began with the first band to play rock in Ylistaro
the age of 13. He was influenced by the Red Song Book. His first two albums were gospel, three more secular pop music. His album Mitä silmät ei nää (2003) sold gold and the album Kaunis ihminen (2006) reached platinum. Originally from South Ostrobothnia he now lives in Tuusula
. He is married Raija Mattila, and together they have two sons, Mikael and Akseli.
Tapio won the 2009 Emma-gaala
for best male vocalist.
