There were 255 households out of which 25.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.5% were married couples
living together, 9.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% were non-families. 27.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.39 and the average family size was 2.89.
In the city the population was spread out with 24.1% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 22.8% from 25 to 44, 28.1% from 45 to 64, and 17.2% who were 65 years of age or older. History
The area was originally called Schupferville for Rupert Schupfer, an original homesteader in the area. The town was named in 1882 by the first postmaster, Charles Snyder. He named the town in honor of his two daughters, Julia and Etta.The Bank of Juliaetta is a historic building
