signed the band to his ill-fated Melodian label (through Mushroom
) and issued two singles in 1989: "Stand Back" and "Body Heat." By 1990, Roxus had cemented itself as a popular live drawcard and a live EP
was released, That Girl, to capitalize on their success.
In April 1991, Roxus supported Warrant
during their Australian tour, which was followed by the release of their debut full-length album, Nightstreet. The album reached number five on the Australian national charts
, while the single "Where Are You Now?" peaked at number thirteen on the national singles charts in July 1991 and number eleven on the AMR charts

In 1998 Roxas appeared on the Mushroom Records 25th anniversary album, Mushroom 25 Live: The Concert of the Century
, and played the accompanying concert performing "Where Are You Now?".
