Juventud Aprista Peruana is the youth organization of Partido Aprista Peruano

. It is a member of the International Union of Socialist Youth
. JAP used to be a member of the World Federation of Democratic Youth
. Many APRA Politician's have camed from CHAP (Chicos Apristas Peruanos) at young age before going to JAP. Many congressman or former congressman have comed from JAP like Javier Velasquez Quesquén, Mauricio Mulder Bedoya, Jorge Del Castillo, Luis Alva Castro, Mercedes Cabanillas & Luciana León. At the beginning of the Peruvian General Elections of 2011, APRA didn't have a Presidential candidate, so they invited former Minister of Economy Mercedes Araóz for president. Jorge Del Castillo criticized Araóz for not going in her youth age to JAP. Finally, Mercedes Araóz resigned her candidacy. JAP resides inside La Casa Del Pueblo in the district of Breña, opposite to Center Lima.
