Parandi received his first degree in mathematics and economics, his second as a filmmaker from the IIIS (the "International Institute of Visual and Sound creation" based in Versailles) and his third in philosophy from the Paris X University Nanterre. He started as a graphic designer and freelance art director, and then became Assistant Director for TV commercials before working as an advertising Creative Director.
