The station was assigned the call letters KZVE on 1991-04-15. On 1993-01-15, the station changed its call sign to KONJ, on 1993-07-09 to KXTN, on 1997-03-01 to KPOZ, on 1999-01-15 to KXTN, and on 2005-03-01 to the current KAHL.As of December 2008, KAHL is now on the FM dial at 103.7 FM.
