. As well as music, the station broadcasts several high school football and basketball games from area schools. KSKU also broadcasts the Kansas Jayhawks football and men's basketball games. On September 2, 2011 around 2:20am there was a fire that destroyed the studios of Ad Astra Per Aspera Broadcasting with included 94.7 KSKU, 95.9 KWHK, 100.3 KNZS and 106.1 KXKU. Rebuilding has begun. New location has been purchased. Studios will be in temporary location until the new location has been remodeled to accommodate the studios. At 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, KSKU 94.7 as well as KNZS 100.3 were switched back on the air. The first song to kickoff KSKU was "Meet Me Halfway" by the Black Eyed Peas.
