KUPL-FM began on June 6, 1948 as KPOJ-FM on 98.7 FM and moved to 98.5 FM on March 27, 1964. On August 15, 1968 KPOJ-FM changed call letters to KPOK-FM. On July 11, 1973 KPOK-FM changed call letters to the current KUPL-FM and aired a beautiful musicBeautiful music
