The sale was approved on September 17, 2008 and was consummated on November 12, 2008; soon afterward, the station was relaunched as Intelliweather 3, carrying looping weather conditions and a news ticker. PMCM then sought permission to reallocate KVNV from Ely to Monmouth County, New Jersey
