Chithambaram arrives at the station to prevent his daughter from leaving and overhears the conversation. Synopsis
Suresh (Vikram), an orphan, accompanies a friend home to a large family celebration of a festival. There he meets Kausalya (Priyanka Trivedi) and they fall in love. Throughout the early scenes in the movie, Suresh unintentionally falls into repeated conflicts with Chithambaram (Prakash Raj), a respected man of the village. Chithambaram's bad impression of Suresh becomes the main focus in the film, as it turns out Chithambaram is Kausalya's father. Relatives unsuccessfully attempt to pursade Chithambaram to agree to a wedding.When Suresh confronts Chithambaram about what would make him happy, his answer is for Suresh to die.
