in Dhaka's domestic league. His imposing height and mass of curly hair made him instantly recognizable on the soccer pitch, and he was a darling of Mohammedan fans for many years. He also represented Bangladesh at the national level. He currently resides in Dhaka. In 2003 he received his country's National Sports Award along with Sam Warren.
