Geography

Kamareddy is located at 18.3167°N 78.3500°E. It covers an area of 14.11 km². It is 110 km from the state capital of Hyderabad and 55 km from district headquarters, Nizamabad. However, Kamareddy comes under the Zahirabad parliamentary constituency.
The population was 64,496 as of the 2001 census.
