The village has about 5 km of paved road, 5 to 6 km of gravel road and has about 4 to 5 km of hydro and phone lines.

There is an elementary school, a church and a big square. The nearest high school is in Vounargo and the nearest hospital is in Tripoli. Its economy is based mainly on agricultural products.

, its buildings were rebuilt and emigration occurred at a higher rate until the 1970s, the village recovered a part of the population between 1991 and 2001. Iardanos became connected with asphalt in the 1960s. Electricity, radio and automobiles were introduced in the mid-20th century, television in the late-20th century and computer and internet at the turn of the millennium. In 1997, the ex-community (now a village and a municipal district) joined to become the newly formed municipality of Iardanos.
