"Keep the Ends Out" is the third episode of Rubicon

Joan Hadas, David's widow, comes to get her late husband's belongings. She also urges Will to meet her son Evan. Will and his team are still investigating George Boeck. Miles especially becomes obsessed with Boeck and discovers an airport security video of Boeck and his family going on a vacation. However, he couldn't find anything wrong with Boeck. They could only find out that he is a banker with a Syria

Kale criticizes Will for having accepted Spangler's 24-hour deadline on the Yuri case. It was a test, and Will failed. Maggie tells Kale about her earlier encounter with Craig (Ebon Moss-Bachrach
), her daughter's father. She is upset about it but her daughter Sophie (Zoe Margaret Colletti) seemed happy.
Evan Hadas (Christopher Denham) asks Will to give him the Norton motorcycle, since he's David's son, not Will. When Will gets home, he takes the Norton apart and finds a gun under the cushion, sealed with a duct tape that has 10-digit numbers on it. Will finally confronts the man who has been following him, but the man punches him and runs away. Later, Kale tells him that the man is FBI
agent Ryan Farber (Darren Goldstein), who followed Will as a part of Will's vetting process.
Evan and Will put the Norton back together, and Evan tells Will that the only honest conversation he had with his father was about baseball. Will comes knocking on Ed Bancroft's door in the middle of the night, claiming that he has found a clue. David knew that Will hates the Yankees
, and the first 27 numbers are dates of the Yankees' World Series
wins. Together, they then try to decipher the other numbers.
On the street, Will calls Daniel Burns on his cellphone and asks him to check seven names that he and Ed just found from David's codes. Will notices a different man following him. The man goes into a laundromat and reports to another man that Will has seen him.
