Since her election, Skidmore has fought for equal rights for all, sensible drivers regulations for teenage drivers, a prescription drug monitoring program, and many health care-related causes. In 2008, she ran unopposed and was re-elected to serve her second term in the Florida House of Representatives from Boca Raton, FL.
