Kelmscott School serves an ethnically diverse community, with the largest group of
students being of Asian Pakistani heritage. Three in every five students speak a first
language other than English, of whom over 50 are at an early stage of learning
English. One student in six joins the school after
the beginning of Year 7. The number of students is average, but there are more boys
than girls.
