After graduation, Jones played four seasons in the Greek top league, for Panionios B.C., Panathinaikos B.C. and Maroussi B.C., and for the Russian club BC Dynamo Moscow during the 2003-04 season. He also was part of the Macedonia national basketball team. Jones was invited to the Denver Nuggets
summer league in 2005, but did not make the team.
Jones died on August 18, 2005 in his home in Atlanta, Georgia
