from 1995 to 2001. He also played a substantial part of his career with the Brisbane Bandits in the Australian Baseball League from 1993 through to 1997.

, he met his future wife who he got married to shortly after and obtained Australian citizenship, technically meaning he was the 7th "Australian" to play in the Major Leagues, but is excluded from the list of 27 Australian MLB players as it is officially an Australian players to debut in the MLB, where Jordan was American at the time of his debut.
