The parish church of St Nicholas is a Grade I listed building. Its spire was removed in the late 1960s, as it was considered to be unsafe.

There are quite a few small businesses in Keyingham such as a Co-op store, a Chinese restaurant, two public houses and a takeaway.

Schools

The village currently has one primary school, Keyingham Primary School. It was opened to pupils at the beginning of the 2007 school year, replacing an earlier one on the same site. The new one combines the former junior and infant schools. The schools serve children from Keyingham as well as the neighbouring village of Ottringham
