in early 2010. In July 2010, he went on trial with Swindon Town
. Hughes-Mason spent the month of August 2010 on loan at Tooting & Mitcham United
, and returned to the club, again on loan, in November 2010. He signed on loan for Chelmsford City
in February 2011, making six appearances. At the end of the 2010-11 season, Hughes-Mason was released by Milwall.
Hughes-Mason went on trial with Burton Albion
in late July 2011, and trialled with Grimsby Town
two weeks later, playing in a friendly match against Brigg Town
. Hughes-Mason re-signed with Tooting & Mitcham United on non-contract terms, before moving to Kettering Town
in October 2011.
