History
Kilcock town sports pre-date the GAA. Kilcock O’Connell’s were one of the strongest early GAA clubs in Kildare, losing to Clondalkin Round Towers by 0-2 to 0-3 at an August 1888 tournament. Christy Rochfort was the leading footballers and referee of the early team.Honors
