Kill the House Lights is a compilation album by New Jersey rock
group Thursday
. The album includes many unreleased versions of older songs as well as three new songs. It also includes a DVD with a documentary on the band and live performances. The name of the record derives from a lyric from the song "M. Shepard" from the band's 2003 album War All the Time.
Thursday announced they would be filming a live album on December 27, 2006, at Starland Ballroom
in Sayreville, NJ. They recorded their smaller show at Maxwell's
in Hoboken, NJ the next day.
The following is the track listing from an annual New Year's Eve show recorded in December of 2006 at the Starland Ballroom which is included on the DVD.
