Kincardine Castle, or House, is a Victorian

. The castle was built in 1894-6 to Scots Baronial designs by Niven and Wigglesworth of London on the site of, and incorporating part of the earlier building on the site dating from the early 18th century. Niven and Wigglesworth were influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement and this shows in the design. It is a category B listed building.
Set in a 3000 acres (1,214.1 ha) estate, the castle was built in the 19th century by the present owner's great-grandmother for the express purpose of accommodating and entertaining private guests. Today, chiefly a family home, it functions in much the same way for groups, house parties, meetings, fine dinners and weddings. All are catered for in great comfort and style and with a sublimely homely ambience. All visits are exclusive-use only so the minimum group size is 6. It has 15 guest bedrooms, all with en-suite or private bathrooms, and 4 public rooms.
