History

When the hospital first opened it held 11 beds. Many additions have occurred over the years, including in 1923, 1956, 1968, and 1982. Due to cut backs in health care, the hospital currently contains 36 beds.

The Kincardine Hospital Redevelopment Project

In August 2011 the Provincial Government of Ontario approved plans to completely remodel the whole hospital. The project will begin in 2015 with a total cost of an estimated $104 million(CDN).
