Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. College Preparatory High School is a high school located in Chicago's Kenwood
neighborhood on Drexel Blvd., about one kilometer from Lake Michigan

The King College Prep marching band represented Chicago at the Presidential Inaugural Heritage Music Festival in Washington D.C. where they came in second place in the competition and performed at an inaugural ball.
