Kingdom is the sixth studio album by Koda Kumi released on January 30, 2008. The album debuted at number one on the Oricon Weekly Chart with sales of 421,302. On the day after the album's release, an inflammatory statement on the talk show All Night Nippon created much controversy, causing Avex Entertainment (The album's publisher) to cancel all promotions for Kingdom on February 2, 2008.

Packaging

The album is available in three versions; a CD+2DVD (Limited Edition), a CD+DVD, and a CD Only version. The first DVD features 16 music videos for each song on the album, including the music video for the non-album song "Run for Your Life", according to information posted on Koda's official site as well as consumer sites on the Internet. The second DVD is of her Koda Kumi Premium Live In Hall In Yokohama Arena concert.

The CD+2DVD album includes a slip cover, 3 CD-sized stickers of the various album covers, as well as a booklet containing photos of her Live In Hall performance.

Kingdom has been certified triple platinum by RIAJ for shipment of 750,000 copies in Japan.
