The school has around 210-250 pupils each year. The headteacher is Mrs Audrey I. Walker and 2 current Deputies, Mrs Haig and Mrs Watson. The school used to be called Springhill before the merging of Infant School Greenfern and Senior School Springhill to create a larger school named Kingsford. The current program for after Primary 7 is Hazlehead Academy
