Karlie Justus of The 9513 gave the song a "thumbs up", praising the lyrics but criticizing the "heavy-handed production".

charts at number 58 on the chart dated for the week ending April 2, 2011.
On September 27, Moore released his second single, "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck". This has become his first top 40 hit.
