title and the Conference League Cup
. He also marked his fine season by receiving the Conference National "Young Player of the Season" Award.
Hudson played in Aldershot Town's first ever League Two match at Accrington Stanley
on the opening day of the 2008–09 season. In September 2008 he made his 100th appearance for Aldershot Town, when he came on as a substitute against Swindon Town
in the Football League Trophy
game. He scored his first-ever Football League goal against Gillingham
later that month.

on 31 December, working under manager Terry Brown
