Geography

It is located at 21°55′0"N 85°14′0"E at an elevation of 590 m above MSL.

Koira has abundant deposits of iron ore & manganese ore.More than 100 mines are operating in koira. Patmunda is the main reserve of Manganese. Rungta group, Adhunik Group S.R. Group, Aryan Group are the major companies operating there.
