Black is also a noted fiction writer who writes under the Spaulden Publishing imprint of Connecticut Press. He is the author of four novels, The Chance She Took, The Risk of Chance, The Game of Chance and "Chance & Drama".

Kole Black is also the author of the "SEX THERAPY" series, a group of relationship books that provide women an honest and insightful glimpse into the mind of the modern man. Titles include; "SEX-THERAPY: A Woman's Guide To Understanding WHY MEN CHEAT", "SEX-THERAPY: A Woman's Guide To Understanding WHY MEN FEAR COMMITMENT" and "SEX-THERAPY: A Woman's Guide To Understanding WHAT MEN REALLY WANT". As of September 1, 2010, the last two books have not yet been released.

In addition, Black is a weekly syndicated news columnist. Entitled "I'm All Yours with Kole Black", the column appears in the Cincinnati Defender, a weekly news and entertainment publication. The column answers questions from individuals looking for advice on their most personal problems, usually related to some sort of sensitive relationship issue.
