Koniskos is a village in the southwestern Trikala peripheral unit, Greece
. It was the seat of the municipality of Tymfaia
. It is located northwest of the city of Trikala
, northwest of Larissa
, southeast of Grevena
and northeast of Kalambaka. Koniskos had a population of 262 for the village and 383 for the municipal district in 2001. Mesochora is built 800 m above sea level, by the hillside. It is located by the road linking Kalambaka and villages of the eastern part of the mountains.
