The first singer who answered their ad in a local musician’s magazine was Daniel Jordan, and from there Kopek was born.
Early gigs in and around Dublin included many a battle of the bands contests, which the trio won with studied regularity. From 2002 to 2009 Kopek toured relentlessly, and continued to win competitions around the world. In 2005 Kopek won the Best Live Act at the Global Battle Of The Bands, garnering them $100,000 and a world tour. http://gbob.com/
In 2009 Dublin based Record, Publishing & Production company Religion Music signed the band to a large multi-album deal, for both recording and publishing.. Their debut album is titled White Collar Lies.

Irish trio Kopek's history stretches back a decade. Drummer Shane Cooney and bassist Brad Kinsella grew up as next-door neighbors in Dublin, and through their shared love of classic and modern rock music.The first singer who answered their ad in a local musician’s magazine was Daniel Jordan, and from there Kopek was born.

White Collar Lies
Kopek's US debut album, White Collar Lies, was released on iTunes in June 2010, and is set for physical release on January 18, 2011. The album has already been met with high praise since its digital release: "White Collar Lies by Kopek is genius through and through, and is an astonishing feat for a debut album. If Kopek's musical talents and writing abilities continue to increase and mature in the direction in which they are currently pointed then they are poised to conquer the world!" Their first single, "Love is Dead," is to be featured on the upcoming Saw 3D soundtrack, out October 26. The band will begin a nonstop tour of the US in 2011.Management
