College career
Playing in every game his freshman year, Lindsey notched 17 tackles on defense in 14 games. During his second year at Southern Illinois, he recorded six interceptions in one game, ranking fifth most in school history. In his final year in Southern Illinois Lindsey obtained the Associated Press's First Team All-America, becoming just the third Saluki in program history to garner First Team All-America accolades in back-to-back seasons.
