Sharif there is a saint's tomb known as Hob-e-Ali Almaroof Sain Tika Sarkar Qadri. Another tomb is of saint Syed Sadiq Shah Khad Sharif is located near Kahuti Bazar.
Chlawra is also one of the most beautiful villages of Kotli Sattian,with beautiful views of the mountains of Kashmir.
Other villages are kamra shrif Thoon, Burhad, Khuttian, Baddnia, darnoian, Chalawara, Mansoorabad Sarmandal, Balawra, Bhan, Dehra, Perchann, Dhanda and Karore.
There is another prominent village DHANDA, situated at the edge of Murree and Kotli Sattian. It has given this Tehsil persons like Kernal Nasir satti who remain MPA and chairman of district council Rawalpindi there is another famous personality is Asim Raiz Satti, Shahid Riaz Satti satti, Haji Ghulam mustafa Satti and Wasiq Hanif Satti' also belong to THOON.

Kotli Sattian was earlier a part of Tehsil Murree but now is a separate tehsil. Its located at 50 km distance from Islamabad. It is situated with the bank of "Jehlum" river. Most front areas of AJK are Distt. Bagh, Rawalakot and Plandri. Jehlum River is 5 km from THOON village.
