The building is supported by gigantic wooden pillars. It is rare to found such intricate wood carving of such large scale in today's world. The building shows mastery and skills of our ancestors.

A grand Mosque called the Badriya Mohamad Ali was built in 1900 wherein about 5000 people can pray. Under this Masjid, an English medium school called the Al-Badriya English Medium High School was started and it imparts education to about 900 students.
