He was the Minister for Co-operation (at Cabinet Rank) from March 6, 2003 and redesignated as Industries Minister on August 8, 2004 along with the portfolio of Co-operation Department. He also remained the President
of HPPCC from 24 November 2004 to 25 July 2005.
