Kummariguda is surrounded by Thimmapur, Kothur, and Fathimapur, earlier all these areas were under Kothur Grampanchayath. Kummariguda is availed with railway station (Thimmapur railway station).
, Amruthalayam (Temple) built here by Swadyay parivar of Kummariguda. Every day morning and evening all the villgers(Swadyay parivar) assemble for half an hour at Amruthalayam and offer pooja to lord Krishna.
