L'École des fans was a French
TV show that was hosted by Jacques Martin
from 1976 to 1998.
Famous French singers/musicians were featured on the show.
A number of children between the ages 3 – 10 are part of the show where the host asks them some questions and then they would sing a song or play the music of the featured singer/musician then they would receive a number of gifts from the artist and from the show.
This was a very children-friendly show
. They were giving mark
s to their peers and then (if the marks were far-off)—Jacques Martin would ask them why they give such and such mark (leading to usually funny explanations). Then Jacques Martin would go with the singer to count the marks and, invariably, everyone won with the same mark.
There's a copy of this show in Québec
, on TVA television network, and the host was Charles Lafortune. The Quebec version stopped airing in 2008.
