La Bionda is a musical duo formed by brothers Carmelo and Michelangelo La Bionda, who are considered the inventors of Italian disco music.

The two brothers began their business, in 1970 as composers, artists, record producers and publishers.
They debued as a group in 1970 with Primo sole, primo fiore to be interpreted by The Beatles Song Festival in Venice. In the early seventies, they recorded two acoustic albums, Fratelli La Bionda srl and Tutto va bene (recorded in the Apple Studios in London) and keyboards with the collaboration of the great pianist Nicky Hopkins

The great popularity comes after the turn to the emerging disco. To develop their project decide to move to Monaco, and the first great successes come under the pseudonym, D. D. Sound that will accompany them for the entire recording career.
Disco Bass, and Burning Love was the first international success: a success which will then culminate in the production of Cafè, which exploded in 1977, 1, 2, 3, 4 ... Gimme Some More, light-hearted song-style bubble-gum riffs harmonica.
La Bionda Brothers desired to go over and try other musical styles, so the name DD Sound is no longer present, and then back on the market with their name. In 1978, they released the album that contained La Bionda with the ballad "Sandstorm", "There for me" (recorded over the years by great artists of the value of Sarah Brightman

), and "One For You, One For Me".
From 1978 to 1981, La Bionda Bandido released albums, High Energy and the innovative I Want to Be Your Lover (Caparezza championship in his song titles and re-proposed by the Engineers in 2009) and albums DD Sound Cafe and The Hootchie Cootchie, followed by the last individual officers Boxes, and Wake Up in the Night. Since the early eighties, the brothers La Bionda focus on composition and music production and activity of Music Publishers.
In 1984, the disc comes out in the Rockets' new line-up as no more space and the name changed to Roketz. The album includes the single is titled "Under the Sun Impercetpion". Composing soundtracks for hit movies including Sergio Corbucci
