History
La Equidad began playing in the Hexagonal Olaya upon its founding, managing to move up to the Third Division in 1993. In 2003 the side earned promotion to Primera B, where in 2006 it won the league to gain entry into Primera A.Thanks to its victory in Copa Colombia 2008
