. He had a solid debut for Carlton and they ran out winners by 56 points. Henderson contributed well and kicked a goal. His second round game against his old team Brisbane was a very good game for him kicking three goals but they fell short of winning in the final quarter. At the end of the 2010 season Henderson suffered an injury to his hip, he was sidelined for 2 months. At the start of the 2011 season he missed an number of games before being called up as a forward. Near the end of the season, Carlton key defender Michael Jamison was injured and was set to miss an number of games. Henderson was then placed in the back line to replace Jamison.
His 2011 season was very impressive with Henderson getting praise for his development and himself stepping up when Jamison was injured. He will in the near future become a versatile player for Carlton
