Today, the college, located in a 15 acres (60,702.9 m²) campus in Lajpat Nagar

, has approximately 2000 students, over 150 faculty, administrative and support staff and 16 courses of study. LSR's infrastructure includes a newly refurbished, computerized user-friendly library with internet access and 98,000 books, 5,000 bound volumes and audio-visual cassettes.; a students' cafeteria and a counselling and placement cell. Sports training facilities for lawn tennis, basketball, shooting, volleyball, chess, table tennis and martial arts are also available. For out-of-town students, the LSR campus houses a residence for 300 women students with an in-house library and dispensary.
Guided by a Board of Governors, drawn from the fields of industry, law, journalism, academics and the bureaucracy, under the Chairmanship of industrialist and philanthropist, Dr. Bharat Ram, the College is known for academic and extra curricular achievement. The Dramatics Society of Lady Shri Ram College aims to create awareness about theatre through street-theatre, spoofs and stage plays.The Dramatics Society actively takes part in inter-college festivals in and around Delhi.Dramatics Society had the opportunity to do theatre workshops with eminent theatre directors such as Anamika Haksar, Arvind Gaur
and Barry John LSR Dramatics Society.
The Voluntary Agency Placement Cell provides opportunities for students to make a positive contribution to community development and social welfare and to explore alternative career possibilities.
The NSS (National Service Scheme) chapter of LSR caters to those whose inclination draws them towards community service. Members of the NSS are involved in community outreach programmes, blood donation camps, campaigns against drug abuse and teaching the physically and mentally challenged.
The National Sports Organization or the NSO offers facilities for sports ranging from swimming and table tennis to yoga and shooting. The NSO organizes various activities during the year. These include the annual cross-country run and the LSR Sports Festival which is an inter-college competition for all sports.
The LSR unit of NCC (National Cadet Corps) offers considerable scope for stimulated and disciplined adventure. Enthusiasts can learn parachuting, horse riding, judo, civil defence techniques and participate in a number of training camps.
Projekt is the film and photography society in LSR. We believe that through the language of film, students gain a common platform to discuss and appreciate not just the medium itself but also its reflection of society. We screen both Indian and foreign, classic and contemporary, serious and fun, films throughout the year.
We also conduct workshops on film appreciation and invite eminent photographers to conduct photography workshops. As a part of the LSR annual festival, Tarang, we host a photography exhibition giving students a platform to display their creativity and we also organize several film and documentary screenings.
The WDC in College was first started in 1985. The Cell has been active since then and has grown to become an important part of the extracurricular activities of the students.
The Cell seeks to create awareness about important issues related to women and provides a forum for discussion and deliberation on a range of issues such as one's body, sexuality and gender. We question patriarchy; discuss women's position in society, fundamentalism, inequality, crime against women and various other issues that affect our daily lives. This not only initiates debate and dialogue but also facilitates the process of breaking away from our class/caste lineages to position ourselves in a broader socio-political context.
This is achieved by way of conducting talks, seminars, presentations, workshops, film festivals and other activities organized by the cell. The cell is equipped with a professional counselor to deal with a student's problems and offer solutions to them.
The WDC has its own collection of feminist literature, which will soon be made accessible to students.
Aside from the College Festival, each department at LSR hosts its own academic festival every year. This provides students with a forum to interact with eminent personalities in their own fields, as well as participate in competitions ranging from debates to paper presentations.
