Lake Baronets

There have been two Baronetcies created for persons with the surname Lake, one in the Baronetage of Ireland and one in the Baronetage of Great Britain. One creation is extant as of 2008.
The Lake Baronetcy, of Carnow in the County of Wicklow, was created in the Baronetage of Ireland on 10 July 1661 for Edward Lake. The title became extinct on his death in 1674.
The Lake Baronetcy, of Edmonton in the County of Middlesex, was created in the Baronetage of Great Britain on 17 October 1711 for Bibye Lake, Sub-Governor of the African Company. He was the great-nephew and heir of Sir Edward Lake, Chancellor of the Diocese of Lincoln and Advocate-General of Ireland. For his services to Charles
Sir Edward was granted the privilege of nominating a person to be created a Baronet, a right he did not take up. However, a baronetcy was conferred on his aforementioned great-nephew and heir Bibye Lake. The ninth Baronet was a Captain
