Power and water infrastructure as well as other special developed areas made up 2.7% of the area while parks, green belts and sports fields made up 6.3%. The municipality is located on the left bank of the Rhone
river. It consists of the villages of Grand-Lancy and Petit-Lancy (which are separated from each other by the Aire valley) as well as the hamlets
of Pesay, Saint-Georges, La Tour, La Vendée, Le Pont Rouge.
