Larissa Airport Thessaly was built in 1912. It was the commercial airport of Larissa
until 1997 when it closed. It's claimed that it will reopen for commercial flights in 2013. Currently the airport is being used only by military aircraft. The longest runway (08/26) is temporarily closed. The runways do not have an ILS.
