. After playing 10 years in the NHL, Larry Romanchych retired at the age of 29 from professional hockey. Following his hockey career Larry reinvented himself and chose a new career path as an entrepreneur.

In 1979 Larry founded Crescent Moving and storage out of White Rock, British Columbia which was named after the famous Crescent Beach. Larry started the company with one 5 ton truck which he himself would drive and used the same values of integrity, honesty and hard work that he used during his NHL career.
