Last Lungs are a five piece Post-rock
band from Preston, England.
Their style of music is simple, with a combination of clean melodic guitars reminiscent of American Football
and the ability to build their songs into a glorious end.

In 2008, the band went on a full UK tour with their good friends in Capulet. The tour was 9 days long, starting in Sheffield and ending on a sold-out hometown show in Preston. 100 2-inch mini CD's were hand-made for the tour, which featured 2 newly recorded tracks, 33½ and Kaleidoscope.
In 2010, Last Lungs signed to renowned US label Deep Elm Records
.
Their debut album was released digitally on August 3, 2010.
