Considered one of the great writers of Space Opera, he wrote more than 30 novels and was quickly noticed for his ability to create realistic alien worlds and civilizations. Today, he spends most of his time writing about the Omale universe and writing a children's fantasy series.
He won the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire
in 1995 for Arago.
